 raduating Denton High School senior(s) who demonstrates need and exemplify
  the ideals of character\, teamwork\, and a commitment to working toward t
 he betterment of the community. In awarding this scholarship\, we honor th
 e memory of two beloved Denton High School educators\, William Carrico and
  C.H. Collins\, who served the students of Denton High School for a combin
 ed total of almost 70 years\, and who worked together to help guide the De
 nton Independent School District successfully through the process of integ
 ration.\n\nTo be eligible\, applicants must plan to attend ANY accredited 
 post-secondary institution\, including four and two year colleges and/or t
 rade schools. The Denton High School Family Assistance Foundation aspires 
 to grant awards to two students\, one of whom plans to attend a two year c
 ollege or trade school. Therefore\, the foundation encourages a broad vari
