 onors the memories of these great men\, together\, just as they were so of
 ten linked in life.\n\nAbout the Coach Carrico & Coach Collins:\nCoach Bil
 l Carrico and Coach C.H. Collins are remembered by generations of Denton B
 roncos as two of the individuals who were most instrumental in leading the
  successful integration of Denton High School in 1968. They set an example
  for the community in building a friendship that strengthened to brotherho
 od as they led Denton High School’s most successful football team in 43 ye
 ars\, which won the bi-district championship in 1972. After football\, the
 y became successful and beloved school administrators until their retireme
 nts: Coach Carrico as Denton ISD Athletic Director and Coach Collins as De
 nton High School Dean of Men. Separately\, they are memorialized by the be
 autiful Denton ISD athletic facilities that bear their names.\n
