Scholarship Application

The 2024 Scholarship Application is now open!

The Carrico/Collins Scholarship will provide assistance to a graduating Denton High School senior(s) who demonstrates need and exemplify the ideals of character, teamwork, and a commitment to working toward the betterment of the community. In awarding this scholarship, we honor the memory of two beloved Denton High School educators, William Carrico and C.H. Collins, who served the students of Denton High School for a combined total of almost 70 years, and who worked together to help guide the Denton Independent School District successfully through the process of integration.

To be eligible, applicants must plan to attend ANY accredited post-secondary institution, including four and two year colleges and/or trade schools. The Denton High School Family Assistance Foundation aspires to grant awards to two students, one of whom plans to attend a two year college or trade school. Therefore, the foundation encourages a broad variety of applicants.
